Ties into the existing Kości Losu artifact lore - his own face
occasionally becomes a d6, as if subject to the same game of chance
he presides over.

Documents the unauthorized Malferian strike on "Integralność" (Arkthar's
rogue attack, Syllia->Zhukov command handover, capture of Arkthar and
Zayis, Zayis's later escape into WeSM as an undercover student), and adds
the parallel Karolina Fey / corrupted-maelstrom incident to the First War
page as the other real-world precedent for the "military rank overrides
Gaja rank" command rule.
Also folds Karolina Fey (Agentka Beta) and Nicodemus Florens (Agent Gamma)
into Siły Specjalne Gaja's roster - the Greek-letter callsigns turn out to
be Gaja-reserved designations, not Siły Specjalne X's own - and updates
Zhukov's (Marszałek Polowy, 22.05.2027) and Pelagius's (Generał Brygady)
ranks to match the resulting chain of command.
Bundles incidental concurrent edits from the live vault (Federacja Sol-3.md
moved into its own subfolder, plus assorted line-ending normalization).

Removes the orphaned duplicate npcs/Klaus von Übertropp.md (superseded by
npcs/Nauczyciele/Klaus von Übertropp.md, same pattern as the earlier
Narcyza/Klara/Robert Zaryn cleanups) and normalizes line endings on a few
lore files per the .gitattributes convention.

Converts every internal header-anchor link in the vault (ToCs and inline
cross-references) from the incorrect GitHub/GFM-slug style to the format
Obsidian's Read mode actually resolves: exact heading text, case and
diacritics/punctuation preserved literally, with only spaces encoded as
%20. Also converts the two remaining Obsidian-wikilink ToCs (organizations/
Federacja Sol-3.md, rules/00. Podręcznik Gry.md) to plain markdown links per
the styleguide, and strips the inert Pandoc-style {#id} heading tags from
lore/90. Tales of the Homebrew Magic.md.
Renames 8 heading names that appeared more than once within the same
document (Atrybuty, Żywotność, Pancerz, Inicjatywa in the rulebook; Magia
Żywiołów/Sakralna/Iluzji in Księga Magii; Faza 3: Sprzedaż in Złoto, Stal i
Magia; three Tales of the Homebrew Magic story installments) since a flat
anchor link can't disambiguate duplicate headings the way Obsidian's
wikilink nested-path syntax could.

Fills remaining unfilled template placeholder fields across NPC/organization/
conflict pages tracked in _meta/Luki w Lore.md (Mundus, Tempus, Diana
Koniecpolska, Aurora, Isherwood brothers, Narcyza, Serioża Żukow, Bill
Cipher, Wybrańcy Herosów, Projekt Starlight, BAW, and the Federacja Sol-3 /
Malferian war table), adds new Nil "Abyss" nickname lore and the related
Pelagius Caudex incident, removes orphaned duplicate NPC pages (Narcyza,
Klara, Robert Zaryn), moves Bank Krasnoludzki to organizations/, and
rewrites Siły Specjalne Gaja's prose (first trimming repetition/ToC, then
fleshing it back out into fuller, smoother prose per updated house style).

Check off items resolved by 6fb72b0 (hub sections, Nemyo index entry,
Nil/Mundus/Tempus/Mistrz Losu/Ten Ktory jest Mroczny/Narcyza/Anna
Heide field fixes) and keep only the gaps that are still genuinely
open, for a clean starting point in a future session.

Without a committed .gitattributes, line-ending normalization on
commit depended on each contributor's local core.autocrlf setting,
so files could get re-flagged as changed by Obsidian Git purely due
to EOL churn with no actual content difference. Pin text=auto
eol=crlf repo-wide and renormalize stored blobs to match.

Confirmed via Foundry-Data investigation that no script actually
reads these nested tags - Foundry pack routing is done entirely via
a hardcoded folder-to-pack table in build-journal-packs.ts, and the
topical-parser strips YAML frontmatter wholesale without parsing it.

29 files across concepts/, races/, conflicts/, rules/, items/, and
_templates/ use inline flow-style tag lists ("tags: [a, b, c]")
instead of the standard block-style list. Every prior translation
pass only parsed block-style "tags:\n - x" and silently skipped
these, leaving them untouched. 12 of the 29 were already all-English
(placeholder/todo, or "moc"/"hub" - Map of Content marker tags, not
the Polish word "moc") and needed no change; the other 17 are now
translated.

It duplicated the existing English "spell" tag on every spell file,
undermining the vault-wide Polish-to-English tag standardization.

Narcyza Eleness Zurbach.md, Klara.md, Klaus von Übertropp.md, and
Nemyo.md were moved into their subfolders in a separate local WIP
that landed on main after the vault-wide tag translation ran, so
their Polish tags were never touched by that pass.

- brytyjska-akademia-wiedzm -> british-academy-of-witches (Croix Meridies.md)
- komedia -> comedy (Bill Cipher and Co.md, Zakon Taumaturgow.md)
- sub-konflikt -> sub-conflict (Konflikt o Tajwan/Kaszmir/Nil.md)
- Zakon Taumaturgow.md also had "tags: " with trailing space and
4-space indented list items, which silently skipped its entire
tags block (organizacja, taumaturgia) in the prior pass; normalized
to standard "tags:" + 2-space indentation and translated

- Fill empty hub index sections (Zakon Taumaturgow, Sily Specjalne Gaja,
Wybrancy Herosow) and add missing entries (Nemyo) in npcs.md
- Resolve broken template fields for Nil, Mundus, Tempus, Mistrz Losu,
Ten Ktory jest Mroczny, Anna Heide, and Narcyza using confirmed canon
- Update Kult Otchlani org page to reflect Nil's motive for culling
her own cultists
- Add "zaklecia" tag to all 104 spell files
- Translate ~90 Polish frontmatter tags to English vault-wide for
consistency with the spells/ taxonomy (e.g. otchlan->abyss,
magia-krwi->blood-magic, szkarlatny-kult->crimson-cult), keeping
proper nouns (character/place names) and clean up legacy "#tag"
hashtag-style artifacts left over from old Obsidian inline tags

Drops the redundant XCOM.md org page in favor of the existing Siły
Specjalne X page, and updates Joe Cox and all cross-references to
point at the merged org. Also fixes several new links introduced by
this rename that were missing percent-encoding for spaces, which
broke outside Obsidian's own link resolver.
Fix "faularnych" typo, tidy a stray empty table column, link two
previously plain-text lore references, and add missing Nauczyciele
index entries (Leopold von Karma, Diana Koniecpolska) — recovered
from pre-session stashed WIP that predated the vault reorg and was
otherwise obsolete.

Replaces the empty auto-generated placeholder with a real profile built
entirely from facts already scattered across races/Krasnolud.md,
rules/03. Złoto, Stal i Magia.md, Thingrim Magnarson, Brogir Vane, and
Diana Koniecpolska's dwarven-contract storyline - no new facts invented.

* refactor(vault): convert wikilinks to standard Markdown links
Switches the vault's internal linking convention from Obsidian
wikilinks ([[Target]]) to standard Markdown links ([Text](path)),
so the vault renders correctly in Obsidian, plain Markdown readers,
and AI tools that don't understand wikilink syntax.
- Flipped Obsidian's core "Use [[Wikilinks]]" setting off
(.obsidian/app.json: useMarkdownLinks + newLinkFormat: relative)
so new links created in-app follow the same convention.
- Converted ~1690 wikilink/embed occurrences across 143 files via a
vault-aware script: relative path resolution per source file,
GitHub-compatible heading-anchor slugs (with correct duplicate
suffixing) for same-file and cross-file heading links, alias-aware
and case-insensitive target resolution, and disambiguation for the
handful of basenames that exist in more than one place (e.g. Nil,
Federacja Sol-3) in favor of their canonical page.
- Image embeds with a size modifier become <img width> tags; sized-less
images become standard ![]() embeds; non-image embeds (video) become
plain links, since transclusion has no Markdown equivalent.
- Updated the styleguide to document the new link convention.
- Fixed one pre-existing typo (swapped target/alias on a Tempus link).
Verified: 1648/1656 non-asset links resolve to real files after
conversion; the remaining 8 are either a documentation example or
already-known pre-existing red links (missing conflicts.md index,
a couple of not-yet-written character/org stubs) predating this change.
* fix(vault): add missing conflicts.md index, restore two dangling TOC entries
- Add conflicts.md as a top-level index (mirroring npcs.md/organizations.md/etc),
the only top-level folder that lacked one.
- lore/05: restore the missing "Przywództwo i legendy" heading its TOC
already pointed at (content existed, just wasn't header-ized).
- organizations/Federacja Sol-3.md: fix two TOC entries whose text had
drifted from the real heading ("Wojsko Federacji" -> "Wojsko i Waluty
Federacji", "a Podbój Kosmosu" -> "w Podbój Kosmosu" typo), and restore
the missing "Ziemia (Sol-3-1725) jako Kluczowy Członek" heading.
- Ziemia (Sol-3-1725).md: drop an orphaned TOC sub-entry pointing at a
bolded callout label ("Centrum Wsparcia Planetarnego") that was never
a real heading, rather than inventing one that would break the callout.
* feat(vault): restructure Elf race page, add Brogir Vane and Siły Specjalne X
- races/Elf.md: consolidate the scattered Wysokie/Leśne differentiators
(previously one sentence per theme in each general section) into two
dedicated ## Elfy Wysokie / ## Elfy Leśne sections, so the existing
cross-file links to these subraces resolve to something real instead
of just falling back to the whole page.
- Add npcs/Bank Krasnoludzki/Brogir Vane.md - Dyrektor Generalny of the
Dwarven Bank on Earth, distinct from Thingrim Magnarson's "Twarz Banku"
public-facing role. Fixed the two links in races/Krasnolud.md that
pointed at the wrong (races/) folder.
- Add organizations/Federacja Sol-3/Siły Specjalne X.md, built from the
existing canonical book content in lore/10 (previously only ever
quoted inline on Nicodemus Florens's and Karolina Fey's pages, never
given its own page). Fixed the pre-existing red links across
npcs.md/Nicodemus Florens.md/Karolina Fey.md to point at it, and
added it to organizations.md.
Verified: 0 broken internal links vault-wide (excluding the two files
already out of scope: the styleguide's illustrative link example, and
the pre-existing lore/90 session-log import with its own Pandoc-style
anchor convention).
* feat(organizations): add X-COM-flavored mission doctrine to Siły Specjalne X
* fix(organizations): specify Siły Specjalne X squad composition (10-12, 3-4 human)
---------

* chore(npcs): remove duplicate Thingrim Magnarson file
npcs/Thingrim Magnarson.md and npcs/Bank Krasnoludzki/Thingrim
Magnarson.md were near-identical duplicates. Kept the one nested under
Bank Krasnoludzki/ (matches the org-nesting pattern used for other
affiliated NPCs, and has the correct relative _assets path). All
existing [[Thingrim Magnarson]] backlinks resolve by basename, so
nothing breaks.
* chore(npcs): remove non-canon Gemini filler NPCs
Confirmed against the GM's actual canon character list: none of these
16 NPCs (the "Mistrz X / Profesor X / Mistrzyni X" WeSM faculty batch,
plus a handful of similarly-invented named figures) are real characters
- they were auto-generated placeholder stubs Gemini created to fill
voids in "known practitioners" flavor lists, never fleshed out, and
don't exist in the GM's head either.
Removed the stub files and the "Znani praktycy"/"Znani przedstawiciele"
bullet points referencing them across disciplines/*.md and races/Elf.md
- either dropping just the fake entry where a real one (e.g. Robert
Zaryn, Kult Otchłani) shared the same list, or removing the section
entirely where every entry was fabricated.
Also merged the duplicate Aurora Nylabelle stub into the existing,
already-canonical npcs/Uczniowie/Aurora.md (which already carries
"Aurora Nylabelle" as an alias) rather than treating her as filler -
she's confirmed canon, just needs real content still.
* feat(lore): add Abyss as the primordial being behind Nil/Mundus/Tempus
New canon from the GM: Abyss was simultaneously a place and a being,
existing before any universe did. Mundus split off first (her birth is
what made existence/worlds possible at all), then Tempus split off
second (his birth is what made time/change/continuity possible - why
anything can persist past the instant of its creation). What remained
after both departures is Nil - not a third sibling born alongside the
other two, but the leftover core of the original Otchłań, which is why
she's treated as the eldest and closest to the source, and why "Abyss"
still gets used as one of her names.
Also distinguishes two previously-conflated phenomena: the one-time
Pierwotny Rozpad (primordial split, pre-universe) vs. a Personification
being drawn into and manifesting within a specific universe (repeatable,
e.g. triggered by a disturbance of the Pierwotna Zasada Równowagi Magii)
- lore/02's Rozdział III previously described the latter as if it were
the act of creating Nil and Mundus from scratch each time, and didn't
mention Tempus in that framing at all.
New: npcs/Kult Otchłani/Abyss.md (full account), concepts/Otchłań/
Abyss.md (see-also stub, matching the existing pattern for Nil/Mundus/
Tempus). Updated: Nil.md, Mundus.md, Tempus.md (cross-links + their
place in the split), concepts/Otchłań/Personifikacje Otchłani.md
(promoted from draft status now that the origin story is grounded),
lore/02's Rozdział III intro.
* feat(npcs): write up Narcyza Eleness Zurbach, add Klara stub
Narcyza was an empty placeholder despite being confirmed canon by the
GM (as opposed to the Gemini filler batch removed earlier) - full
backstory from the GM: 750+ year old arch-succubus, daughter of Sheliss
Eleness Zurbach (a succubus married to a demon king killed before
Narcyza's birth). Raised alone by her mother until age 30, when Sheliss
was captured by a rival demon lord and never heard from again. Narcyza's
rescue attempt failed - one of the lord's generals cursed her while
unconscious, permanently draining her power to feed her captor. She
doesn't know it's a curse; thinks the drain is just how powerful demons
work. Enrolled at WeSM partly to find safety among people, partly
because Earth's connection to other worlds is her best lead on finding
her mother. Skilled at crafts (hand-makes clothing, including some of
Diana Koniecpolska's), currently into miniature painting.
Left the rival demon lord, his general, and Sheliss's current fate open
in a GM-only note - hooks for later rather than invented detail.
Added a minimal, honestly-incomplete stub for Klara (the angel Narcyza
grew close to at WeSM) rather than a broken link or a fabricated
backstory - she's queued for her own dedicated round. Cross-linked
Diana <-> Narcyza's relationship on both pages, and listed both in the
npcs.md index alongside an Abyss entry under Kult Otchłani.
* feat(npcs): add Kiara (Feles, Diana's loose relationship)
Kiara is a distinct character from Klara - a long violet-haired Feles,
one year above Diana Koniecpolska at WeSM, in a loose relationship with
her. Cross-linked with Diana's page, listed as Feles's first confirmed
"known representative" in the campaign, added to the npcs.md index.
Left as a stub pending fuller detail on personality/history, same as
Klara - noted honestly rather than invented.
* feat(npcs): write up Joe Cox (was a 0-byte file)
GM's pitch: Rambo by way of Johnny Bravo and Guile from Street Fighter
- tall, built, blonde, an unmistakable hairstyle, a lieutenant you can
drop solo with a gun and limited ammo and he will complete the mission,
no matter the odds. Already referenced elsewhere in the vault as 1st
Platoon commander of XCOM (Federacja Sol-3's special forces), so wrote
him consistent with that existing context and cross-linked accordingly.
* feat(npcs): write up Leopold von Karma (was Gemini filler stub)
GM's backstory: a human necromancer from another world who spent years
tracking Hept-Skhes - his rival from their shared homeworld, before
Hept-Skhes went on to defeat rival death-gods (Tanatos among them, per
lore/10) and ascend to godhood. The chase accidentally landed Leopold a
teaching position at WeSM. Now spends his free time cursing Hept-Skhes
and terrifying students and fellow teachers alike.
Relocated from npcs/Leopold von Karma.md to npcs/Nauczyciele/ to match
the existing teacher-NPC convention (Pelagius Caudex, Urszula Callistis)
- no path-qualified backlinks existed, so nothing else needed updating.
Added him to disciplines/Nekromancja.md's known-practitioners list and
cross-linked with the existing Hept-skhes concept page.
* feat(npcs): write up Klaus von Übertropp and flesh out Pelagius Caudex
Klaus von Übertropp had no dedicated file despite being referenced
(broken link) from Wschodnioeuropejska Szkoła Magii.md, which already
carried most of his story in prose: a non-mage installed as WeSM
director by Kult Otchłani, promised power by Nil in exchange for
helping bring her fully into the material world. When the plan failed,
Nil killed the other participants but gave Klaus a worse fate -
complete removal from reality itself, not just death. New GM-facing
term for this from the source conversation: "usunięcie z Otchłani"
(removal from the Abyss). Nil then picked Pelagius Caudex as the new
director on a whim, as a "fun" punishment - and thanks to the erasure,
Pelagius is publicly remembered as WeSM's first-ever director.
Also fleshed out Pelagius Caudex's own file, which had a director title
in its stat table but zero prose - added an Opis/Relacje section
covering the same appointment from his side, since it was sitting right
there unexplained.
Added a note to Nil.md about this erasure capability being (as far as
known) unique to her among the three Personifications.
* feat(npcs): add Maedinitia and Nemyo, fix dangling TOC entries
Maedinitia: a water mage, WeSM student, and Aurora Nylabelle's servant -
she's at the school mostly as part of Aurora's retinue, since Aurora
attends for political reasons as a princess of Hiondirs-4. Cross-linked
with Aurora's page (which had a stat table but no prose at all yet).
Nemyo: a Feles alchemist who's helped numerous player parties out with
potions - added to disciplines/Alchemia.md's known-practitioners list,
which is also where two other discipline pages' TOCs still pointed at a
"Znani praktycy" heading I'd removed entirely in the earlier Gemini
filler cleanup (Botanika, Golemancja) - fixed those dangling links too.
* fix(npcs): resolve Xillith name coincidence, add Nil's first erasure
Cleared up a real contradiction: the existing avatar/halberd-possession
mechanic linking Bezimienny (First Patriarch, real name Xillith) to
Xillith Isherwood is correct and stays - Isherwood is bound to the
Patriarch's soul because he's a Szkarłatny Kult member who claimed the
cursed halberd, not because of the shared name. The GM confirmed the
name match itself is pure coincidence with no in-universe cause; Nil is
aware of it and finds it funny or infuriating depending on her mood.
Also filled in why Xillith's erasure by Nil was incomplete (unlike
Klaus von Übertropp's total erasure): her manifestation at the time was
extremely weak, having possessed a child's body, limiting how much of
him she could actually remove from the Abyss - enough to strip his name
and most of his existence, not enough to erase him entirely.
Pulled the well-developed duel backstory already sitting in lore/10's
Xivell chapter (age 21, Botanika's discovery, Arcymag and Nadworny
Taumaturg titles, the duel's stakes) into Bezimienny's own page and
cross-linked it, since his page previously didn't reference that
chapter at all despite covering the same events. Added the same history
to Nil.md as her first known intervention in mortal affairs.
* feat(npcs): add Tena Lindemann (Inquisition's secret lich)
GM's backstory: originally a non-magical human from another world,
trapped for 20 years in a cave saturated with necromantic energy -
transformed into a lich through prolonged exposure rather than a
deliberate ritual. Moved to Earth afterward and joined the Inquisition,
rising to Senior Inquisitor.
Dramatic irony worth keeping as an open GM hook: the Inquisition
actively hunts illegal necromancy, and one of its senior members is
undead herself. Left whether her superiors know/tolerate this or she's
hiding it as an open question rather than inventing an answer. Added to
disciplines/Nekromancja.md's practitioners list and a new Inkwizycja
section in npcs.md (first NPC filed under that org).
* feat(npcs): flesh out Xillith Isherwood, add Talonos backstory
* feat(npcs): flesh out Talonos Isherwood personality and backstory
* feat(npcs): add Nicodemus Florens (Crimson Cult Archpriest / Sol-3 double agent)
* feat(npcs): flesh out Pelagius Caudex, resolve Nil/Diana possession event, cross-link Syllia/Norbert
* feat(npcs): flesh out Urszula Callistis, add Croix Meridies, resolve Norbert's witch-magic anomaly
* feat(npcs): major Diana Koniecpolska deep-dive - full life chapters, Nil possession/split, Harbinger transformation
Cross-linked into Narcyza (curse secret), Kiara, Aurora, Poslancy roster, Robert Zaryn, and Bezimienny.
* feat(npcs): add Narcyza's physical appearance details
* feat(npcs): flesh out Aurora Nylabelle, the Diana romance arc, and Maedinitia's clinginess
* feat(npcs): note Aurora's role assisting Diana's experiments

This was the oldest and roughest sync of all 8 books (dated
2026-01-20, before the process gained frontmatter/structure) - the
entire 1400+ line file had exactly one heading (the title) and every
single chapter/section marker had degraded to plain text, same failure
pattern seen (in smaller doses) throughout this reconciliation pass.
- Restored 167 headings programmatically via the same doc-order text
matching used for Przewodnik Ludzkości, plus a couple of manual fixes
the automated pass couldn't place (an off-by-one on "Wstęp", and
"Rozdział VII - Religia" which turned out to have zero presence in
the vault file at all, not even a stub).
- Added proper frontmatter (tags/book/author/last-updated-at/aliases),
matching every other rules/*.md file in the vault - this file never
had any.
- Replaced the stale hand-written page-numbered TOC (a leftover from
the print layout, page numbers meaningless in Obsidian) with the
auto-generating `table-of-contents` block used elsewhere, and
stripped the ~60-line run of empty paragraphs left over from the
Google Doc's title page.
- Added the missing Rozdział VII stub, linking to concepts/Bogowie/
Panteon.md and concepts/Siedem Grzechów/Siedem Grzechów.md - both
already exist with full per-god/per-sin writeups (richer than the
book itself, which leaves several gods as bare headings), just had
no back-reference from the core rulebook.
Content-diffed Rozdział II (Tworzenie Postaci) and Rozdział V (Walka i
Magia) in full against the doc - the two chapters most likely to hide a
real rules bug (character creation, combat) - both came back clean,
only cosmetic Google Docs typography artifacts (comma spacing, stripped
live doc hyperlinks replaced with plain text/wikilinks).
This file (1225 lines) had a severe, systemic version of a bug seen in
smaller doses in earlier books: from partway through Rozdział II onward
(~1130 lines, everything through Rozdział X and all 4 annexes), section
headings had degraded into plain paragraph text during a prior sync -
no "#" markers at all. Content wasn't lost, just unstructured: no
outline, no working internal links, and the auto-generated
table-of-contents block only ever covered the first two chapters.
Restored headings programmatically by matching each plain-text line
against the doc's actual heading list (in document order, to avoid
mismatching duplicate-looking section names) and re-adding the correct
"#" level - 202 headings fixed. Replaced the now very-stale hand-written
TOC (which only listed chapters I-II) with the same auto-generating
`table-of-contents` plugin block already used elsewhere in the vault
(e.g. lore/02), since hand-maintaining 200+ TOC lines isn't sustainable.
Diffed the full chapter III-X + annexes text against the doc afterward:
only one real content difference in ~1300 lines - a singular/plural
mismatch ("który pierwotnie popierał" vs "którzy pierwotnie popierali")
that changed whether one prince or several supported the founding of
Królestwo Zaryn. Fixed to match the book (singular, matches Robert Zaryn
being established elsewhere as the sole founder).
Confirmed the ~16 headings that didn't restore (Ziemia/Hiondirs detail
subsections under Rozdział II) are intentional: that content already
lives in locations/Ziemia (Sol-3-1725)/... and locations/Hiondirs-4/...,
correctly split out per the established book-links-out-to-entity-file
pattern, headings and all.
Księga Magii also grew since the last sync (2970-line doc now). Checked
structural coverage against the vault: Rozdział I (disciplines) and
Rozdział IV (artifacts) are correctly split into disciplines/*.md and
already match the doc. Rozdział VII (spell-creation formulas/tables)
verified byte-for-byte accurate.
Found one real structural gap: Rozdział VIII "Dzika Magia Dzikich Wiedźm"
had zero presence in rules/01 - not even a summary+link - even though the
actual content already exists, complete and accurate, in
disciplines/Dzika Wiedźmia Magia.md. Added the missing chapter stub.
Spot-checked spells across schools (general/air/sacred/superspells) for
stat-block accuracy against the doc - found and fixed a real, recurring
bug: several spells have a "Wymagania" (requirements) line in the book
that never made it into the vault's structured `requirements` field:
- Ostrze Dawida: requires Race (Anioł) - was empty
- Fanatyczne Poświęcenie: requires Race (Człowiek) - was empty
- All 8 superspells require Mistrzostwo (mastery) of a discipline - none
of them encode this anywhere. Added the requirement text into each
spell's body since the schema has no dedicated "mastery" field and
guessing at unknown discipline enum keys seemed worse than not
guessing. Left as follow-up if the app schema should grow a field for
this.
- Zagłada (Doom) specifically requires a 4-mage ritual (main caster + 3
others who already know the spell, none can be Źródło Mocy) - this one
*does* have dedicated frontmatter fields (requiresGroupCast, minCasters)
that were sitting at false/1. Fixed to true/4.
Did not attempt a full line-by-line read of all ~104 spells or the
~900 lines of Rozdział I-VI narrative/spell prose given the book's size;
spot-checked a representative sample per chapter/school instead. A
systematic requirements-field audit across all spell files is a
reasonable follow-up given what turned up here.
rules/06. Bestiariusz.md was a 0-byte file - never synced. Turns out
the live doc itself is mostly an unfinished skeleton: "Rozdział I -
Przeciwnicy" (monster stat blocks) is a bare heading with no content at
all, and most of "Rozdział II - Inne Postacie" is just a list of NPC
names with no stats or descriptions under them, in the doc itself. Only
"Rozdział III - Talenty" (4 unique boss/NPC talents) has real written
content.
Built the vault file to faithfully match that structure: full text for
the 4 talents, and the NPC roster linked out to their existing npcs/
profile pages where one exists (12 of 18 names). Two names (Klara,
Wikaene) have no npc/ file yet - left as plain text rather than inventing
one, since they're only attested in session-log mentions
(lore/90. Tales..., session notes), not in the book. Narcyza Zurbach's
existing npc file is itself an empty placeholder stub.
Did not fabricate any monster stat blocks or NPC combat stats - neither
the book nor the vault has them anywhere, and inventing them isn't a
reconciliation task.
This book grew substantially in the live doc since the last vault sync
(2165 lines now vs the ~650-line vault rules file), restructured from
4 chapters into 9 chapters + 2 annexes. Checked lore/03. Ekonomia
Magicznego Świata.md's heading structure against the doc's chapters
I-VIII: it's already been fully expanded to match, 1:1, including every
subsection - no gaps found there. Did a structural check, not a full
line-by-line read, given its size (~1100 lines of narrative prose);
flagging that a deeper pass is available if wanted.
Deep-diffed the mechanics-only portions that live in rules/03 (the book
was already correctly split: crunch in rules/, worldbuilding in lore/):
- Real rule bugs: "Widzenie w Ciemności" and "Hartowany w Ogniu" talents
were restricted to Krasnolud only in the vault; the book grants them to
Krasnolud/Feles/Elf and Krasnolud/Lamia respectively.
- Real rule bug: the simplified trade minigame's failure clause was
flattened to a flat 10% loss; the book scales it ("10% za każdy
brakujący Sukces") and ties the GM's complication roll to the shortfall.
- Naming drift: "Tworzenie Artefaktów" -> "Rzemiosło Artefaktów" (matches
the actual discipline file name used everywhere else in the vault).
- Two "Rodział" -> "Rozdział" typos, and a malformed wikilink with a
duplicate closing `]]`.
Currency exchange table (Rozdział II) and the base-price table (Aneks B)
verified byte-for-byte against the doc - no drift.
Fetched the "Klątwa Otchłani" doc and checked it against rules/02
(mechanics), lore/02 (Otchłań worldbuilding), and the eldritch spell
files it links out to.
- Missing rules content: "Przywołanie Istoty z Otchłani" gave no way to
actually determine required successes ("depends on the creature", full
stop) - the book's per-creature table (Tajemny Krab 2, Strażnik
Otchłani 4, Czempion Otchłani 6, Simulacrum 10 successes, plus their
Otchłań-bond level requirements) was dropped entirely. Restored it.
- Wrong cross-reference: rules/02's Wstęp pointed to
[[03. Ekonomia Magicznego Świata]] (a different book's lore file
entirely) instead of [[02. Otchłań i Magia]].
- Two more headings that degraded to plain text during a prior sync
("Bariera Ziemi", "Przebudzenie" in lore/02) - same failure pattern as
Arcanum Sanguinis, now fixed.
- Chapter renumbering inconsistency: rules/02 renumbers every chapter
locally (I-V) except the last one, which stayed "Rozdział X" from the
book's original numbering. Renumbered to VI for consistency with its
siblings.
Verified: Nil/Mundus/Tempus/Mistrz Losu personifications (already split
to npcs/Kult Otchłani/*.md) and all 5 eldritch spell stat blocks match
the doc. Rozdział III (Kara za nieudolność) and VIII (Choroby
Psychiczne) are empty in the book itself, not a sync gap.
Fetched the "Chwała Szkarłatnemu Kultowi" doc (constants.ts display name;
internally still titled that, vault calls the book "Vivat Patriarcha
coccineus!" - flagging for confirmation, not renaming).
- Fixed a broken TOC anchor: linked to "Superzaklęcie - Requiem" but the
actual heading is just "Requiem" - dead internal link in Obsidian.
- Restored "może wskrzesić" (can resurrect) for the Wielki
Taumaturg/Pierwszy Patriarcha ritual outcome; vault had drifted to
"może stworzyć nowe ciało dla" (can create a new body for), which
contradicts both the book and the vault's own lore/05 file (which
independently says the cult wants to "wskrzesić" him).
Rozdział I-III (rumors/structure/locations lore) live in lore/05.
Szkarłatny Kult.md, which has been substantially expanded past the book
with campaign-specific canon (Nicodemus Florens, Xillith, Domena
Szkarłatu time dilation) - left untouched per policy: book is
source-of-truth only where it asserts something the vault contradicts,
not vault-original elaboration. Spell stat blocks in spells/crimson/*
and spells/general/superspells/requiem.md verified byte-for-byte
accurate against the doc - no changes needed.
Fetched the live "Krwawa Mgła"/Arcanum Sanguinis Google Doc (constants.ts
entry has a stale display name; the doc itself was renamed) and diffed it
against rules/04. Found:
- Wielka Ofiara frequency cap was wrong: vault said "raz na rundę" (once
per round), book says "raz dziennie" (once per day). Real balance bug,
not cosmetic - this is a potential instant-kill action.
- "Wchłanianie Krwi" had lost its heading during a prior sync (plain text,
missing from TOC) - restored as a proper H3 + linked in the outline.
- Minor wording drift restored to match the book ("czy mechanik" clause,
"coraz" typo).
Confirmed disciplines/Magia Krwi.md (the existing lore-split destination
for this book's Rozdział I-II / Robert Zaryn material) already matches
the doc verbatim - no changes needed there.
