Inicjatywa was double-counting Umysł and pulling in Ciało via skill
totals; correct formula is Umysł + Refleks bonus + Spostrzegawczość
bonus (confirmed against the player character sheet's actual
spreadsheet formula). Recalculated every NPC form on the corrected
formula, then bumped Refleks/Spostrzegawczość bonuses for trained/elite
NPCs so their Initiative reads above starting-player range, matching
their in-fiction competence. Nil now rolls 4k6 instead of 2k6.
Also: Gotowość do Walki for Xillith (III/IV), Karolina (II, inherited
into III), and Pelagius (x2); Dyplomata and Gadanina for Zayis (bumped
her Empatia to +3 to actually meet Dyplomata's prerequisite); Przeskok
added to Xillith's (unreliable, per table history) and Karolina's
(reflavored as twin short-lived gateways) spell lists.

Add escalating aggression to Karolina Fey's Taktyka across all three forms,
add Narcyza's demon-normalcy/flight/claws/superiority-complex details, and
retcon Malferians from shapeshifters to demon-descended (fixing the Zayis
"obvious non-demon in demon robes" contradiction and grounding her magic's
demonic lineage literally).

Adds Bestiariusz combat stat blocks for the setting's major NPCs (Pelagius
Caudex, Diana Koniecpolska, Karolina Fey, Narcyza Eleness Zurbach, Xillith
Isherwood, Princess Zayis), each with supporting Talenty and, where needed,
new spells/artifacts (Zayis's Thaumaturgy shield spells, Lexica Botania,
Miecz Taumiczny).
Also reconciles several NPCs against a user-authored canon power-scaling
list: Diana gets a body-horror physiology writeup, an Otchłań-overcast
immunity Talent, and a "stop, not defeat" scaling note; Karolina's Forma II
is renamed to match Wielka Księga Obrzędów canon and gains Lexica Botania +
Pełnia Mocy; Narcyza's command ability becomes an aura affecting everyone
nearby, not just her focus target. Replaces the "Eldrycki/Eldrycka" Polish
calque throughout with direct "Magia/zaklęcie Otchłani" phrasing.

Robert Zaryn's own infobox and Królestwo Zaryn's history had drifted
from the correct, more detailed timeline already present in
lore/10 (Przewodnik Ludzkości po Magicznym Świecie): Wyspowe Księstwa
Zaryn conquered by Xivell in 430 BU, Robert Zaryn's 99 BU rebellion
founds Królestwo Zaryn, Benedykt Greteron's second war in 94 BU leads
into the Fall. Added a dedicated Wyspowe Księstwa Zaryn page for the
older, multi-prince polity and fixed the dates/causal order across
Robert Zaryn's page, Królestwo Zaryn, Xivell (planeta), and locations.md.
Rewrote the "Bóg Krwi" GM secret in Magia Krwi.md as the canonical
explanation for Zaryn's partial godhood: his ritual at Obsydianowa
Wieża was a deliberate ascension attempt interrupted by the parasite
(not a Personifikacja) mid-ritual, leaving him a shattered, partial god
rather than cleanly alive or dead - and fixed an internal contradiction
where Robert Zaryn's own page implied he'd met Bezimienny directly.
Added Eryk Meliski, an adept-inquisitor on Tena Lindemann's WeSM audit
team who practiced Blood Magic with her knowledge, and who restored
Robert Zaryn's body via a ritual in WeSM's forest in September 2026,
dying in the process. Threaded through Zaryn's page, Tena Lindemann,
the Inkwizycja and Szkarłatny Kult org pages, and WeSM's own page, plus
an explicitly-flagged speculative GM hook (not settled canon) on both
Eryk's and Mundus's pages about Mundus's possible involvement.

Xillith Isherwood recently finished reassembling the scattered shards of
the Sztandar Szkarłatnego Kultu (the First Patriarch's original staff)
into his halberd, the "Broń Szkarłatnego Patriarchy" - explaining why
Bezimienny's soul, previously fragmented across the shards, is now mostly
reunified. Threaded through the Sztandar item, Bezimienny, and Xillith
Isherwood pages.
Also folds in a prior file move: items/*.md split into items/artifacts/,
items/armor/, items/weapons/, items/gear/ subfolders, with Przedmioty.md
and the two referencing rulebook hubs updated to match, plus a .gitignore
entry for _books/.

The rulebooks (Podręcznik Gry, Księga Magii, and 7 others) were single
monolithic documents, some over 1000 lines, making it hard to find or link
to one specific rule. Restructured them to match the convention already
used for lore/npcs/spells/disciplines: a themed subfolder per book with one
file per topic (talent, race, status effect, action type, etc.), and the
original book file rewritten into a hub/table-of-contents linking to them.
- Where a rulebook chapter duplicated content that already has a canonical
home elsewhere (spell lists vs spells/, artifacts vs items/, disciplines
vs disciplines/), replaced the duplicated text with links instead of
copying it a second time.
- Verified all ~360 internal links across the new structure resolve, and
fixed two real bugs surfaced by that check: unescaped parentheses in
filenames breaking Markdown link syntax, and an off-by-one relative path
in Rozdział VII - Religia.

The "2:1 instead of 5:1" shield-breaker clause was written to apply uniformly
to Runic Armour and Magic Shielding, but Magic Shield already depletes 1:1
by full damage dealt (its own baseline). Applied literally, "2:1" was worse
than a normal hit against Magic Shield - the opposite of the intended effect.
Playtest-verified via a corrected combat simulation. Fixed across all 6
shield-breaker spells: the 2:1 rate now applies to Runic Armour only, and
damage against Magic Shield is doubled instead.

Closes the TBD left when shield-breaking was added to Boska Włócznia
earlier this session. Mixes a shared pack-hunt bonus (allies gain a
die on attacks per stack, up to 3) with a caster-only consumable
payoff (burn stacks on a hit for +1k3 damage each, ignoring Runic
Armour, Magic Shielding, and mundane Pancerz) - the mark's passive
effect helps the whole party corner the target, but only the hunter
who placed it can call in the finishing blow.

Follow-up to the Damage Reduction Order formalization:
- Rozdział V's actual combat-resolution paragraph (00. Podręcznik Gry.md)
never got updated to match the new sequential Runic Armour -> Magic
Shielding -> Armour -> HP order and terminology; it still described
the two magic layers as one lumped subtraction.
- Renamed the last "Runiczna Tarcza" holdouts to "Runiczny Pancerz":
the Amulet Osłony artifact and the Sztandar/Patriarcha Crimson Cult
weapon writeup (duplicated across two files), which already had its
own pre-existing 2:1 shield-breaking mechanic predating this
session's spell conversions.
- Crimson Bolt now ignores Runic Armour and Magic Shielding but no
longer ignores mundane Pancerz (ignoresArmor: true -> false) - a
deliberate example that an effect can skip some defensive layers in
the new order without skipping all of them.

Playtesting the new coating rule found that "half a dose, rounded
down, minimum 1" was a no-op for the common single-dose-per-hit case
(0.5 floors to 0, then the minimum-1 clause bumps it straight back to
a full dose) - a focused arrow volley could still stack Przedawkowanie
tiers almost as fast as before. Replaced it with an accumulating
half-dose counter, so two failed resists are needed per real dawka
instead of one, roughly doubling the hits required to reach each
overdose tier.

Add explicit action/dose cost and expiry to applying elixirs to
weapons/ammunition, plus a resistance test (hooking into the
previously-unused Odporność na Truciznę talent) that halves absorption
on a failed coated hit. Previously a coated hit counted as a full dose
toward Przedawkowanie with no cost or resistance, letting a handful of
cheap arrows trigger overdose-tier effects (up to death) far more
easily than voluntarily drinking the same elixir would.

Combat-pacing rebalance to curb single-cast overcast greed and long-fight
stalemates without further nerfing base spell damage:
- Replace the per-round mana cap with a daily mana pool (old Poziom Mocy
values x3), restored via rest tiers (Odetchniecie/Krotki/Dlugi Odpoczynek).
- Add a mundane-only "Kara za Wyczerpanie Many" table for casting past the
daily pool, and a "Kara za Nieudolnosc" table for failed overcast tests -
deliberately kept free of Otchlan/Obled corruption.
- Taper overcast effect bonuses past step 2 (halved, min 1) to blunt
free-zone alpha strikes below Maksymalny Koszt Zaklecia.
- Rebalance Zywotnosc/Oszolomiony/rest-recovery from 3x/1-3 to 2x/1-2.
- Add a "Potega Efektu" magnitude parameter to the spell-costing formula,
decoupling effect strength from casting difficulty (T/S).
- Flip the Obrazenia/Ochrona category modifiers (-0.4/+0.2, was 0.0/-0.7) so
shields cost more than comparable attacks instead of less, then swept all
spell files against the new formula.
- Expand shield-breaking beyond Ether Pierce (Mysterious Stream, Arrow of
Desire, Energy Wave, Divine Spear, Last Judgment, True Disintegration),
rework Forbidden Shield into a durability-based ward with a shield-ignoring
counter-attack, and complete True Disintegration's description, which was
truncated since the initial commit.
- Formalize the four-layer damage reduction order (Runiczny Pancerz ->
Magiczna Oslona -> Pancerz -> Zywotnosc) in the rulebook.
